    Restoration of a 1930’s Compton Organ at Dingles Heritage Centre, Lifton, Devon

    This is an on-going project that I have been personally involved with for the last 2 years.

    The original 1930’s organ was converted a few years ago to operate with the Opus II system digital interface between the original keyboard manual wiring, ‘stop’ rails and pistons. However, much of the original wiring needed to be modified or replaced for the system to work reliably again with the modern technology.
